Les syst\u00e8mes classiques de d\u00e9tection, comme les d\u00e9tecteurs de fum\u00e9e ou de chaleur, fonctionnent bien dans certains contextes, mais ne sont pas toujours \u00e0 la hauteur dans des situations o\u00f9 la d\u00e9tection imm\u00e9diate des flammes est essentielle\u2014en particulier dans les grands espaces ouverts ou \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur.<\/p><p>C\u2019est l\u00e0 que les d\u00e9tecteurs de flamme entrent en jeu. Contrairement aux m\u00e9thodes traditionnelles, ces capteurs analysent directement le rayonnement \u00e9mis par un feu, ce qui permet une r\u00e9action beaucoup plus rapide. Et voici un point souvent n\u00e9glig\u00e9, mais pourtant crucial : <strong>toutes les flammes ne sont pas visibles<\/strong>. Certains incendies\u2014comme ceux impliquant de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne ou du m\u00e9thanol\u2014peuvent br\u00fbler avec <span style=\"color: #0f67ab;\"><a style=\"color: #0f67ab;\" href=\"https:\/\/ressources.novatech.ca\/fr\/blogue\/technologies-fondamentales\/emissions-fugitives-dhydrogene-le-danger-invisible-dans-les-operations-industrielles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>une flamme presque invisible<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, ce qui les rend extr\u00eamement dangereux si l\u2019on compte uniquement sur la vue pour les rep\u00e9rer<em>. <\/em><em>(Si vous n\u2019avez jamais vu \u00e0 quoi ressemble une flamme invisible, la vid\u00e9o ci-dessous tir\u00e9e de l\u2019Indy 500 de 1981\u2014o\u00f9 un feu de m\u00e9thanol br\u00fblait sans \u00eatre visible\u2014en est une d\u00e9monstration saisissante.)<\/em><\/p><p>Les d\u00e9tecteurs de flamme modernes r\u00e9pondent \u00e0 ce d\u00e9fi en captant les signatures de rayonnement propres \u00e0 chaque type de feu. Les incendies d\u2019hydrocarbures \u00e9mettent un fort rayonnement infrarouge (IR), tandis que les feux non hydrocarbur\u00e9s produisent principalement des rayonnements ultraviolets (UV).
