Lorsqu\u2019une fuite se produit, l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve rapidement et atteint le point le plus haut d\u2019une structure. En int\u00e9rieur, cela signifie qu\u2019il peut s\u2019accumuler au niveau des plafonds, des combles ou dans des espaces confin\u00e9s en hauteur, formant une concentration invisible et potentiellement dangereuse. En ext\u00e9rieur, il se disperse rapidement, r\u00e9duisant le risque d\u2019explosion, mais rendant sa d\u00e9tection plus difficile.<\/p><p>Cette combinaison de taille mol\u00e9culaire minuscule et de forte flottabilit\u00e9 rend les syst\u00e8mes de surveillance des gaz classiques peu fiables pour l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne. Les industries doivent mettre en place des capteurs sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s et des syst\u00e8mes de d\u00e9tection strat\u00e9giquement positionn\u00e9s pour g\u00e9rer efficacement les Cela s\u2019explique par la chimie de la combustion : sans <a href=\"https:\/\/ressources.novatech.ca\/fr\/blogue\/technologies-fondamentales\/avantages-de-la-mesure-de-loxygene-des-combustibles-et-du-methane-dans-les-processus-de-combustion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">oxyg\u00e8ne<\/a> en quantit\u00e9 suffisante, l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne ne peut pas s\u2019enflammer ni entretenir une combustion.<\/p><p>Le v\u00e9ritable danger survient lorsque l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne s\u2019\u00e9chappe et se m\u00e9lange \u00e0 l\u2019air. Son domaine d\u2019explosivit\u00e9 se situe entre 4 % et 75 % de concentration dans l\u2019air. Dans cette plage, la plus petite source d\u2019inflammation \u2013 une \u00e9tincelle d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 statique, un composant \u00e9lectrique d\u00e9fectueux, un fil de platine ou m\u00eame un frottement \u2013 peut provoquer une explosion.<\/p><p>C\u2019est pourquoi la d\u00e9tection pr\u00e9coce des fuites et les strat\u00e9gies de ventilation sont essentielles. Une fois que l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne atteint la concentration critique, la ma\u00eetrise du risque devient exponentiellement plus difficile.
