Les gaz dangereux pr\u00e9sentent des risques imm\u00e9diats et imminents\u2014provoquant des incendies, une exposition toxique ou un d\u00e9placement d\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne \u00e0 des niveaux mortels. Sans un syst\u00e8me de d\u00e9tection fiable, ces dangers restent invisibles jusqu'\u00e0 ce qu'il soit trop tard.\n\n<br><br>Les syst\u00e8mes de d\u00e9tection des flammes et des gaz ont un seul objectif : donner l\u2019alerte le plus t\u00f4t possible. La mesure cl\u00e9 pour d\u00e9tecter ces gaz est le <strong>Limite Inf\u00e9rieure d\u2019Explosivit\u00e9 (LIE)<\/strong>\u2014la concentration minimale \u00e0 laquelle un gaz peut s\u2019enflammer en pr\u00e9sence d\u2019une source d\u2019ignition.<\/p><p>\u00c0 titre d\u2019exemple, la <strong>LIE du m\u00e9thane (CH\u2084) dans l\u2019air est de 5,0 %<\/strong>. En d\u2019autres termes, en dessous de cette concentration, il n\u2019y a pas assez de carburant pour provoquer une combustion. Par exemple, <strong>la LIE de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne (H\u2082) est de 4,0 %<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Il est imp\u00e9ratif de <strong>ne jamais atteindre la LIE<\/strong> d\u2019un gaz. Ainsi, les d\u00e9tecteurs de gaz combustibles sont <strong>con\u00e7us pour fonctionner dans la zone de s\u00e9curit\u00e9\u2014en dessous de 100 % de la LIE<\/strong>. Les alarmes sont programm\u00e9es pour <strong>se d\u00e9clencher bien avant d\u2019atteindre des niveaux dangereux<\/strong>, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement entre <strong>10 et 20 % de la LIE<\/strong>, garantissant une intervention pr\u00e9coce.<\/p><p>Diff\u00e9rentes technologies existent pour d\u00e9tecter les gaz combustibles, mais il est essentiel de choisir <strong>la bonne technologie en fonction des gaz pr\u00e9sents<\/strong>. Dans les environnements o\u00f9 <strong>plusieurs gaz peuvent coexister<\/strong>, les strat\u00e9gies de d\u00e9tection doivent tenir compte des sensibilit\u00e9s crois\u00e9es. <strong>Un expert en d\u00e9tection de gaz est indispensable<\/strong> pour choisir la solution ad\u00e9quate.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-e6d4326 elementor-section-full_width elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"e6d4326\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-966df92\" data-id=\"966df92\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-24d26ea red-dot elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"24d26ea\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><strong>Gaz toxiques et corrosifs : Tueurs invisibles <\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #bf2f38;\">.<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0109556 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0109556\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Certains gaz n\u2019explosent pas, mais cela ne les rend pas moins dangereux. <strong>Les gaz toxiques nuisent \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 par inhalation, exposition directe ou absorption prolong\u00e9e<\/strong>, souvent sans signe avant-coureur.<\/p><p>Les environnements industriels contiennent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des gaz toxiques ou corrosifs qui sont nocifs m\u00eame \u00e0 tr\u00e8s faible concentration. Parmi les plus courants, on retrouve :<\/p><ul><li><strong>Monoxyde de carbone (CO)<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Sulfure d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne (H\u2082S)<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Ammoniac (NH\u2083)<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Chlore (Cl\u2082)<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Dioxyde d\u2019azote (NO\u2082)<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Phosg\u00e8ne (COCl\u2082)<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Hydrofluorocarbures (HFCs)<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>Des organismes tels que l\u2019OSHA d\u00e9finissent des limites d\u2019exposition autoris\u00e9es (PEL) pour ces gaz. Dans certains cas, comme le sulfure d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne (H\u2082S) et le chlore (Cl\u2082), des concentrations de quelques parties par million (ppm) sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 dangereuses.
